The MissionI plan on building relationships within the equine industry and world of showjumping as I pursue my college degree.
While majoring in Psychology and Economics at a Liberal Arts College, I believe many of the skills gained from academics can be transcended in the horse world. We never stop learning. We are all students of the sport. And horses are our teachers. I hope to make my mark on the showjumping world and contribute to the betterment of the sport. |
How it all began...Before I could speak I have had a fascination with animals.
I have always believed there is a secret communication between humans and animals. My passion for horses was never an after-school hobby. Without horses, I would not be standing where I am today. Growing up in a family unfamiliar to the horse industry, I felt like an outsider that had to earn my place in the world of showjumping. I tried western, dressage, eventing, eventually landed on hunter/jumpers as a focus. I am grateful to have taken a detoured journey to where I am today in showjumping because I have the perspective, the horsemanship knowledge, and the overall respect for every type of person involved in the equine industry. |
