My goal is to stride through life with an open-mind, a worth-ethic, a heart filled with a surplus of kindness and forgiveness.
Horses have always been a strong interest in my life, and shortly after that, riding horse became my biggest passion.
Still in my junior rider years, I plan to continue competing in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. I also hope to gain more horsemanship and "industry" experience by taking on more working student opportunities.
Riding is, and always will be, a critical part of who I am and how I want to live my life. I love horses and I want to guide the equine industry in a positive direction in as many ways as I can.
How it all began...
Before I could speak I have had a fascination with all animals. I have always believed there is a secret communication between humans and animals.
My passion for horses was never an after-school hobby for me. I love playing other sports but the difference is I can't live without "playing" this one. Without horses, I truly would not be standing proudly where I am today.
Growing up in a family unfamiliar to the ever-changing horse industry, I definitely felt like I was in a different world compared to the riders I so wished to become when I grew up. However, when there is a will there is a way... over time my family and I grew connections by reaching out to everyone we knew related to horses. It took me until I was a teenager to find the right trainer but once I did, I was shown everything I imagined and more.
Although starting a riding career like this is definitely not the fastest path to big wins in the show ring it is definitely a path I am proud to have taken because now I have the perspective, the horsemanship knowledge, and the overall respect for everyone within this huge industry. I believe these are the types of equestrians that can help pave a proud path for our industry.
